Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a complete medical system that is used to diagnose and treat illness, injury, prevent disease and improve your well-being. Using over 365 “points” and 14 main “meridians”, acupuncture uses very thin needles to improve metabolism, the flow of Qi energy and circulation of blood and nutrients throughout the body. Verbal consultation, and examination of the tongue and pulse will be done before individualized treatment is initiated

What is Cupping

Cupping is another traditional form of therapy that is used by our Acupuncturist in which a suction cup is applied directly to the skin. The suction phenomenon will cause blood and Qi to rush to the surface of the skin in the area being treated, improving circulation.  Different “points” are used to improve different “systems” and choosing the right points to treat the corresponding systems is extremely important
